in a recent magazine article, the author follows a long line of others by arriving at the same conclusion whenever the subject is breeched.

he said that current u.s. president george walker bush was "the most manifestly ill-qualified candidate thrown up by a major party since warren harding.".

while i must admit that i know little of president harding, in my lifetime no president (or candidate) prior to gwbush was ever as under-qualified for the office.

i was just wondering if anyone has heard dmx's new song "we right here", and also ja rules new hit "livin it up"....their my fav artists...ja and i are secretly "involved" right now....(but don't tell nobody).

now, ja's my boy, but that song w/j.lo has got to go!.

and i want to know if anyone thinks fabolous is gonna stay around....i kept tellin everyone he's gonna be hot-the next one to blow it up....damn it feels good to be right.. get @ me.. ~boo.

I saw D12 a little while ago at the State Theatre. Them cats are a'ight. Em performed with them and he of course ripped it lyrically. Lots of energy.....

Dude......you da' man. P.L.B. is one of my fav poets. He came along well before the Harlem Renaissance and died WAY before his time. I think he was only in his early 30's when he died in the early 1900's. I think my favorite book from him was "Lyrics of a Lowly Life". He was way ahead of time because he could talk in the language of a scholar but still talk in negro slave-speak. MAJOR FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH. He was a dope poet.....

Awww....suki, suki...now. I'm into MUSIC period. As far as hip-hop/rap goes I dig more of the PROGRESSIVE rap. I'm talkin' The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Bahamadia, Slum Village, Common. You know hip-hop with a positive message and some kind of originality and innovation without all the "bitches, hoes, tricks & thugs mentality. Most of the stuff that is played on the RADIO or that the record company marketing gurus choose to focus on is UTTER C-R-A-P. Radio rap has no originality and its sad because this gangsta rap and other commercialized hip-hop represents only a SMALL PART of all the hip-hop that's out there today.

Of the radio rap, the only ones that get ANY props from me are probably Jay-Z (sometimes), some of Tupac & Biggie's shit, Outkast and a couple others. My advice to peeps that aren't really feelin' hip-hop, don't take the stuff played on radio as representing the genre. It's just the part that record execs have used to MAKE MONEY.

Yo...you got cool-points for quoting the Rock-Man, Larc. Actually, there's probably a lot of truth to that. To a certain degree we ARE dogs. We can LOVE our wives or girlfriends BUT there is always that little piece of machismo in us that sort of yearns for something new and exciting. I'm sure its even more intense IF you're the most powerful man in the free-world....I'm sure there are a bevy of women just willing to throw themselves at you. I think it would be hard for ANY man to resist the type of A-List women that you could bed in the position of being president. I was reading one of the Kennedy biographies and it showed pics of women that he allegedly knocked-boots with and they were ALL FINE. If I was Kennedy, I think Jackie would have been able to keep my interest enough to keep my fidelity. She was a fine-ass specimen of a woman (charm, grace, model-like features, style)......

Clinton coulda done a whole lot better with his selection. Monica Lewinsky? Jennifer Flowers? ****gag****. When its all said and done I think a GOOD NUMBER of these politicians are infidels. Clinton just got caught with his pants down.

Memorial Experiences from Hell

memorial.....the time of year where we meditate on the supposed significance of jesus' death and watch all types of crazy mufuckas come out of the woodwork.

anyway, we had a new sister move into our territory and lo and behold claims she's of the anointed.

she was all of 40 years old, 350 pounds, friendly, feels that the friends should treat her with special reverence "since she's one of christ's brothers" (wouldn't that be sisters?).

Yeah...that happened another time in my congo once or twice. Although it involved that interested yet highly mentally unstable bible study being brought to their first memorial. Totally hilarious
